This article is intended to assist parents and guardians in resetting their own passwords. This process cannot be used by students. Students need to speak to a teacher or someone in the Tech office to have their password Reset. Students can, however, change their own password.
If you've forgotten your Moodle password, you're not alone! It happens all the time. However, you can resolve this yourself without having to ask and wait for direct assistance.
To reset your password, follow these steps:
- Using a web browser, go to http://our.flinders.vic.edu.au/login/.
- Click the link labelled ‘Forgotten your username or password?’.
- In the section labelled ‘Search by email address’, enter your email address in the space provided.
- Click Search.
Within a few moments, you should receive an automated email asking you to confirm that you want to reset your password. Follow the instructions provided to confirm that you really do want to reset your password. You will then receive a new temporary password via email.
When you log into Moodle with the temporary password, you will have a chance to set a password of your own choosing.
